Horse deal gone bad, your advice?

My husband went to look at a colt last weekend. We are not new to horses. Its not for sure but you have a good chance at it. Your Sat scores are alright it would have been better if you got a 2000 or higher but thats fine. I would send your act and sat in if you apply, because their both pretty good. Normally look at your unweighted gpa, they won't care about your weighted most of the time.

My preference would be the Cooler Master 690. There are many cases available. Check out the new ones from Rosewill and save yourself a few bucks. The Black Hawk comes to my mind. The Antec 300 cools very well also, my favorite. Your cooler should be upgraded also. Xigmatech has come out with a new line of copper tube models including those for the LGA 1155 model processor. Sump pump won't run.?

My basement recently had minor flooding and it was due to the sump pump not running. We just recently had that sump pump put in about 2 years ago so i do not want to think that it is already broken. Once i was falling into deep sleep and suddenly my eyes opened and i could see dark figures moving around in my room. Also while this was going on i unable to get up or scream for help, only the smallest wisp of air could leave my throat. And once I had full control of my limbs and was able to search the room for any sign of intrusion i had found nothing. I was told sleep Paralysis was the cause, yet i also heard another theory of unearthly beings visiting us in our sleep and inspecting us. Im a very opened minded person but that's a little far out for me. I would need alot more evidence to even consider such a theory. What do you think?

What do the classical contributors make of the parlous state of orchestras around the world?

Your absolutely right. It seems we live in an age where fine arts are being neglected by people in general. I love classical music and going to the orchestra. I'm also a piano teacher. One thing that may be a factor is the bad state of the economy. Many people just don't have the extra funds to go to see orchestra concerts. Also, I think people today have less sophisticated taste in music than they did even 20-50 years ago. Sad to say many would rather go see that stupid Bieber kid than listen to real music from an orchestra. In some cities there are volunteer orchestras and free concerts. So, that may be an option for some people. I live in Houston and thankfully we have pretty good support for the symphony and fine arts in our city. Along with that we have two major universities that form an enclave for support in classical music and the arts. Such as the University of Houston Moores school of music and the Rice University music department. I think the only thing we can do is try to help people be more aware of the joy and glory of classical music and the symphony. Creating more interest in orchestras and their decline may help to save them. Thanks for your post.

Your cpu has started to show it's age, but if it's fine for what you use it for, there's no need to upgrade. Look in to overclocking and overclock it as far as you can go since you have liquid cooling.

Will more RAM speed up my computer?

That is a high spec computer, it should not be running slow under that spec unless you have an awful lot of stuff running constantly off your drives, unless its not been well maintained or have viruses draining all the power out of it.. Upgrading to 12GB will definitely make a massive difference but 6GB is high enough for your system to work perfectly smoothly so something is causing it to slow, think you need to clean your drives and check all your system processes and program data usages, as well as making sure your security software is all running properly and is up to date. The graphics card could be pulling the system down a bit i would recommend an upgrade on that as if you regularly use photoshop and such software i can imagine graphics may struggle a bit there with that card, would be a nice addition to the rest of the powerful system spec you have. Also ddr3 ram has better power efficiency but without the psu spec stated here its hard to see whether you may need to upgrade the psu to support the extra ram, but ram doesnt use a great deal of power anyway so if you're upgrading im pretty sure it'll be fine. May be worth a bit of extra research, good luck :)

Be sure to change your oil as it breaks down over time even when not being used, check your tires for dryrot since it has been sitting, look for any cracks in the tread or sidewall and if there is any have the tires replaced. Inspect your engine air filter to make sure no critters have set up a home in there since the vehicle has been sitting. Take it to any oil change facility and they should be able to do this for you. Last if there are any grease fittings on the suspension/ stearing have them lube them as the greese will dry out over time. Thanks again and welcome home. My girlfriend of almost a year has started texting this other guy. I've never known her to texting him before but in the last 3 weeks she is texting him all the time while i'm with her. I could possibly take samples of the livestock's blood, the water they drink, soil etc. And to see if they are in good condition. And if they aren't in good condition or are being treated poorly(not given enough food, given too much, given things that they aren't supposed to have etc) i would give the people time to clea up and then if they don't, i could take the livestock away or shut down their faculty with legal action. Like, I know that there are people in ALL walks of life that want to run their lives in the grey zone. But one thing that I have noticed is that poor people seem to have this reputation for being total bad*sses. Kentucky Security Deposit Dispute?

I am having a problem with my landlord. The landlord actually mailed us the lease and the lease included the comprehensive list but we were never able to mail this list back to him. 3 years later, we decide to vacate. we gave him proper notice and actually left 10 days early so that he can prepare the property for the next renters in June. 3 days prior to the end of the lease, we inspected the property with the landlord and he noted a couple of things on paper (not a comprehesive list) that he thought he would deduct from the deposit. most of the things he noted were "normal wear and tear" items (painting 3 bedrooms, dust bunnies on light globes and mis-matched light bulbs). In order to not dispute anything we signed his little paper agree to be refunded $750 out of the $1,125 deposit. This also did not include the cost of the carpet clean we paid out of our pocket. A week after the 1st inspection he emailed and said he found more things to deduct and sometime in June (after he rented the property) he said he needed to deduct more cleaning charges and other damages. The landlord seemed to have violated KRS 383.505 thru KRS 383.570 & KRS 383.580. The landlord aslo included this in his lease and I thought this would be prohibited under KRS 383.570: "Landlord shall have the right to recover from Tenant all costs over and above the security deposit retained, accruing to Landlord as a result of repairing or correcting damage to leased premises resulting from the Tenant’s occupancy, including reasonable attorney’s fees required for the collection of said costs".

Wow... Home inspectors are...?

So We are selling our home for way less than it was once worth, as everyone is. We finally, afters days got the report from the buyers inspector and it has literally 30 things the buyer wants done, anything he recommended, he wants. Theyre testing common mold, they're just being assholes in general and making this a really awful time of stress. The man who inspected suggested things that our contract said doesnt need to be done, roof tiles being broken is stated as cosmetic! I am having a minor heart attack. he also wants us to repair cracks on the driveway, small cracks! I just dont get it at all. Is this what every inspector does? In the contract we're limited to the amount we spend on repairs, do they all expect you to pay for the tiniest things?

We have been living in a apt for 8 months now and we have been infested with roaches and now our couch has bedbugs! Our bed doesn't have them but I REALLY want to keep it that way. How to remove old carpet tiles stuck to floor boards?

I have recently moved into an old house and have come to sorting out the bathroom. There are currently carpet tiles down (which are smelly and unhygenic) that I want rid of. I tried to lift a bit from one of the edges but it was near on impossible to get up. It seems to be stuck directly to the original floor boards (which I would like to remain fully intact) by this super strong black adhesive. When I went to a church last fall for a turkey dinner, I noticed on their bulletin board that they were offering a Bible study. Since I am now retired, I was looking for something to do besides watch TV and surf the Internet. So I asked the pastor if the study was for church members only, or could anyone come. She said anyone was welcome. They meet one morning a week and I've been going to it since last November. We read a chapter, the discuss it with the pastor's guidance. I am familiar with the Bible, having read it through 5 times. If there a question at the study, I usually give the others that attend a chance to answer (the other attendees are senior woman), but more often than not, they just sit there and look uneasy, so then I chime in. Sometimes the pastor is so impressed with my answers that she writes them down what I say to use in her sermons, commenting that I am inspired (or something to that effect). However, when that happens, the other study members usually give me sidelong annoyed glances when I speak and especially if it impresses the pastor. Why should what I say bother them so?

2gb ram is more than enough for crysis. you may be facing low fps coz i think you are using a 64bit windows. a 64bit win7 os uses 1.4gb of ram at normal. so you are left with just 640mb of ram for games and apps. atleast get another 1gb stick and crysis will not struggle.

I worked in quality control department for the past 3 years and we always used little stamps with a single number on it (eg mine was 5 and meant work station no 5). I inspected a car today ( Renault Clio 1.2 1999) The owner said that he fixed that headgasket but when I checked the oil dipstick it has rusty look and there is barely black colour of oil there. Can car salesman lie about the cars?

The other day, I went to look at a used car at a dealership and, at the time, asked him if there were any engine problems (oil leaks, transmission, etc.) and he immediately told me there was nothing wrong with it. After our test drive, I noticed a light smell of burning oil and proceeded to inspect the engine for myself. I found a large patch of thick oil residue on the engine and saw an oil spot where the car was originally parked. I told the guy and proceeded right off the lot. Bird died mysteriously until we found out what might have been the cause, could this be it?

So for mothers day we got my mom a pair of parakeets that were on special at petco, one survived while the other died. We made jokes that one killed the other cause they got in a fight over who's colors are better. But we had to throw him out.
