Will I be accepted into Brown after my 4 years in the military?

Many US colleges would love to have you but the Ivies such as Brown require extremely high grades from high school and probably would not consider you. As soon as you finish the military take the SAT and you will have a better idea of what schools you can get into. Good luck in the military!

Horse deal gone bad, your advice?

My husband went to look at a colt last weekend. We are not new to horses. He gave the seller a 50% deposit along with a month's board as our truck is currently in the shop so we would not be able to take him home immediately. The seller cashed both checks. Today she called to say that the colt had to be gone by Sunday as she was going on vacation. We told her that there was no way we could get him this weekend and as far as we were concerned we had until 20th July to collect him. She is now saying that she is keeping our money and will refund it if she can get him sold to someone else soon, but if not she'll consider it part of her expenses for feeding him in the meantime!! What do we do?

The time period for NJ inspection ran out for my car. How much will my fine be when I go back?

My car initially failed for emissions. At the time I didn't have the money to get it fixed. I'm getting it fixed now but the one month grace period has passed by. It was February. How much will they charge me when I go back to get it inspected?

Go to your nearest auto parts store, and ask for a can of Anti-Squeak. Then, spray it over the front of your car - DO NOT MISS ANYWHERE. Leave it for 24 hours, and the squeak should be gone.

Hi, I've just graduated beauty school & am waiting to take my boards exam. I've heard that chain salons are really good to start at, i.e. Fantastic Sams, Great Clips, Supercuts. I'd like to hear from someone who can offer me more insight on this matter.
