Is my computer high-powered or super-powered?
Definitely an interesting combination of hardware. 12 cores are almost useless in gaming and in the consumer market, as most programs and games are optimized for no more then 4 cores, and now a handful support up to 8 threads (because of hyper threading), but you have 24. It has super power, but that power can't be harnessed. You should've got faster RAM, >1600MHZ, but the graphics cards are really good. You would have been better off with 3 580s triple SLI, and using a 460 as a dedicated PhysX card. Overall, I'd have to say it's high powered, because each core has a clock speed of 716MHZ, so it will be comparable to a quad core at 2.86GHZ in most applications. A quad core i7 @ 3.2+ GHZ would still probably perform better on most applications and games out their.
