Sounds like a sensible setup for your needs. Go for the Phenom II x 4 CPU and I would suggest that rather than the rather poor Seagate 500Gb you spend a fraction more and get the Western Digital 1TB Green, a much better and faster drive. Its nice to see a common sense approach rather than maxing out just for big numbers.
